The introduction of pepper in Europe was an important step in the eating habits because they are used to complement a very popular spice, black pepper. Its use in Europe dates back several centuries. However, the large pepper varieties, smooth and slightly spicy consumed today were achieved in the early twentieth century thanks to intensive farming.

PAIARROP's pepper jam is made with roasted red pepper. It has a high percentage of pepper, without preservatives, no coloring and no added flavorings .... as was our grandmother.

We will recommend the amazing combination of this jam with all kinds of cheeses, especially hard cheeses, because the taste of this jam defeat the softer cheeses.
